While Castile-La Mancha is most famous for its wealth of artwork, architecture and historical sites, there are some opportunities to spectate or participate in sport. As is true throughout Spain, football is very popular in Toledo.

A large number of the city's residents support 'nearby' Real Madrid, with several other clubs also being well supported.

The best form of exercise in Toledo is walking through the narrow streets of the hilly city, taking in the spectacular architecture as you stroll. For children, there is also the Zocoloco, a playground and amusement complex located near the Plaza de Zocodover. Known as the Zoco to locals, the complex is also the location of much of the best accommodation in the city.
