The city of Toledo comprises two main regions, the Casco Historico (Historical Quarter) and the more modern neighbourhoods, which are divided by the city's walls.

Central Toledo is home to a number of charming medieval streets, with the Alcázar being clearly visible and providing a useful point of reference. Guided walking tours are also available, providing the perfect way to become familiar with the streets and layout of Toledo.
